Escape routes and emergency exits must be kept free from obstructions. Similarly, fire fighting equipment, alarm signals and emergency signs must be kept fully visible and may not be blocked.
Fire alarm
The exhibition premises are equipped with automatic fire alarm. A fire alarm caused by an exhibitor will be charged to the exhibitor. Please address further questions to our technical manager at Kistamässan;

Electric Installations
All electric installations must comply with existing regulations and be approved by the exhibition centres electrician. The same applies to all electrical equipment.
Explosive Gases, Liquids and Other Goods
Inflammable products must be approved by the exhibition centre. Such articles and other pressurised vessels must be sorted in a designated area outside the premises after closing time. No explosive or pyrotechnical articles may be kept on the premises. Small, indoor fireworks may be permitted under certain conditions.
Oily, greasy or solvent-covered cleaning cloths must be stored in fireproof containers with tightly fitting, selfclosing lids. Gas tubes must be securely attached to transport carts for immediate evacuation to a safe area in the event of fire. Fuel tank caps for motor vehicles must be equipped with a lock. The main tap closest to the tank must be shut on Calor gas driven vehicles.
Welding and Cutting
Welding, cuttings and open fires are not permitted on the premises without due approval by the exhibitor centres fire officer. An open fire in a stand always requires the presence of staff and fire extinguishing equipment.
Exhibitor Stand Materials and Decor
All building materials must be fire resistant or non-flammable and approved by the Swedish National Testing & Research Institute. Fabrics and decorations materials must be fireproofed. Ceilings may not exceed 30 m2.
Smoking Prohibited on the Exhibition Premises
No smoking is allowed on the exhibition premises. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas.
Empty Packaging | Waste etc
Empty packaging, waste and other combustible materials may not be stored in the stand. They should be deposited in an appropriate space as directed by the hall staff.
