Wire/telpher/height construction

Only Kistamässans staff are permitted to hang wires from designated fixtures in the ceiling. Drawings with measurements and weight must be sent in for approval to Kistamässa at least 4 weeks in advance.

The stand builder/exhibitor takes full responsibility for all constructions following the current rules and regulations. Kistamässan takes no responsibility for constructions but reserves the right to make decision about changes/additions to wire points for security reasons.

Kistamässan cannot guarantee that orders for hanging wires will be executed if they are handed in to late.

If the stand builder/exhibitor wishes to use their own highlift they must apply for a permission from Kistamässans security officer. A copy of a valid training certificate for highlifts must be attached to the application. If permission is granted the exhibitor/stand builder are responsible for following all rules regarding working a highlift and takes full responsibility for any accidents/damages that may occur.

Maximum weight for wire points in hall 1 is 100 kg/point (Kistamässan reserves the right to lower the maximum weight for safety reasons).

Maximum weight for wire points in hall 2 is 150 kg/point (Kistamässan reserves the right to lower the maximum weight for safety reasons).

For certain points in hall 2 the maximum weight may be increased This will require different hanging equipment and an extra cost will apply. If you need to use the reinforced wire points please contact the safety officer at Kistamässan.

There are wire points every five meter in both hall 1 and 2.
